Mandolin Moody, LMSW, DBT, CBT, REBT
Associate Therapist
Mandolin brings extensive experience to her work with individuals striving for personal growth and realizing their full potential, overcoming any barriers they may encounter. Employing diverse techniques and interventions that inspire genuine cognitive and behavioral transformations, Mandolin collaborates with clients to help them comprehend their past, embrace their present, and actively pursue the person they aspire to be in the future. Her specialization lies in supporting individuals through life transitions, addressing depression and other mood challenges, managing stress and anxiety, navigating relationship concerns, and enhancing self-esteem.
Having earned her undergraduate degree from New York University and a Master’s of Social Work from Columbia University, Mandolin’s training focuses on various clinical interventions tailored to diverse adult populations. Rejecting the notion of a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, she believes in personalizing each therapeutic journey according to individual needs and strengths, drawing from her extensive training across various modalities.
Recognizing the inherent social nature of human beings, Mandolin emphasizes the importance of connecting across different types of relationships. Throughout the therapeutic process, she guides clients in understanding and improving relationships with themselves, peers, and the world around them, with the ultimate goal of becoming the best version of themselves. Mandolin strives to create a fully engaged, understood, and connected life for her clients by integrating research-based interventions with a positive and comforting therapy style. Whether clients are new to therapy or have prior experience, Mandolin provides a non-judgmental, collaborative, and welcoming space for individuals to embark on their self-growth journey.
