John P. Carnesecchi, LCSW, CEAP
Founder and Director

John P. Carnesecchi completed his undergraduate degree in experimental psychology and business administration from Ithaca College, NY.  He earned his graduate degree from New York University in clinical social work and public health administration.

Carnesecchi holds many post-graduate certifications, licences and/or training in the following areas:  psychotherapy (LCSW, individual, couple, family modalities), IMAGO relationship therapy, divorce, family & labor mediator, career coaching and employee assistance (CEAP), program development and corporate training, Myers & Briggs personality testing, substance abuse professional (SAP), palliative care program development, multiple sclerosis wellness program instructor and adoption/IVF home study reviewer and psychosocial examiner.

Organizationally, Carnesecchi has over sixteen years of seasoned experience from highly regarded institutions such as the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Air Force Foundation, Staten Island University Hospital Hospice, the NYC Chapter and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Clove Lakes Health Care Rehabilitation Center (long-term, sub acute and outpatient care).

Anna Mendiola, LCSW, CEAP (cand.)
Associate Director

Anna Mendiola completed her undergraduate degree from SUNY Binghamton in accounting. She earned her graduate degree from Columbia University in clinical social work wit a specialization in the workplace. 

Under GTS's leadership, Anna is completing her clinical psychotherapy license in New York State (LCSW) as well as her national employee assistance certification (CEAP).

Her successful clinical and management experiences come from well-respected organizations such as the Jewish Home and Rehabilitation Center, Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital, American Express and the Employment Assistance Consortium of New York City.

Barbara Shinder
Office Assistant

Barbara Shinder comes to GTS with years of administrative and event planning experience from the NYC Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield.  Ms. Shinder graduated from the Streetwise Career Training Program in NYC.

Ms. Shinder is respected for great attention to detail, organization skills, and above all, her dedication to her work.
