Jennifer Silvershein, LMSW
Jennifer Silvershein has clinical experience working with individuals of all ages. She specializes in adults struggling with eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression and women’s issues. Graduating the top 5% of her class, she earned her Masters in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University. While at Columbia, she concentrated in advanced clinical practice in mental health service delivery. Jennifer’s therapeutic style is humanistic and evidence based. She practices psychotherapy using an integrative approach to include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Rational-Emotive Therapy (REBT). Recently, she completed a certificate practicum in Rational-Emotive Therapy from the Albert Ellis Institute in Manhattan, NY. Clinical experiences include; The Renfrew Center, a treatment center for eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression and women’s issues; St. Barnabas Hospital and the National Council for Jewish Women.
